Living my dreams as a Traveling Photographer

Hola Hola!

I would love to answer all of the questions that have been recently asked on various occasions. Let’s get straight to the point, because I know some of you are anxiously waiting.

I am a #travelingphotographer. I will be bouncing all over the world for my photography business, YAY! #livingmydreams

Did I move back to the Rio Grande Valley? YES & NO!

I still own my beautiful home in Los Fresnos and I am very blessed to have it currently rented out. Which means I get to continue my travel journey with my amazing man AND photography business #iliasismunizphotography  El amor de mi vida B, currently resides in Florida and with all this being said you will see us traveling A LOT! Remember NOT EVERYONE lives in one place for the rest of their lives. Many people around the world have multiple homes and families they want to be with, but can only be with them in seasons. As much as I enjoyed being still in Texas for 16 years straight I have learned that you ONLY LIVE ONCE! Why live it in one town for the majority of it? You have the whole world to experience, CON GANAS NENA!

When will you be back in Florida? Fall/Winter 2023

I will be back in Florida between around August and September. I’ll be able to do sessions down in South Miami and in the Jacksonville area. Maybe even Delray Beach, because WHY NOT? I also plan to do some more exploring with my beautiful man B, because Florida has many hidden gems we have yet to see together. Even though Florida was really hard at first I know my heart wants to continue connecting energy to/from it. Where are you traveling to next? Puerto Rico

Our hometown for B and I is located in the gorgeous island of P FUCKING R! #IYKYK We are thrilled to be visiting home again this summer. We will meet each others families for the first time and also be able to finally see / spend time together since I am currently in Texas for work. #EXCITED We have plenty of amazing things, places, and people to see during our trip. We know our families will be just as thrilled, so during this time I will not be available for sessions. We’ve contacted our sweet friend Camille Fontz to capture some glorious memories for our visit as well, because as a professional photographer you already know how important it is to freeze moments like this one. Celebration of life, family, and love here we come!

I’ve enjoyed sharing my life on social media for the past decade, because it’s allowed me the space to really be me and share my art. However, there is a fine line of asking a business owner how they are vs why are you back or what happened? We don’t have to explain why, where, or what to anyone. As a business owner, we simply enjoy sharing little moments during a season where we can make sense of it all and actually release it when we feel ready. Our reasons to explore the world shouldn’t be defined by you not understanding it. 🙂
