Love Through the Lens: A Photographer’s Faith in God’s Timing
There’s something sacred about witnessing a love story unfold right in front of you on the beach, especially when you’re the one behind the camera. I’ve seen hands shake with nerves before a proposal, eyes well up with joyful tears, and soft whispers of “yes” carried away by the ocean breeze. And while I document these deeply intimate moments for my clients, I can’t help but feel that God is gently reminding me… “See? Love exists. And it’s coming for you too.”
As a single woman, there are days when waiting feels like the hardest thing. We wonder when it will be our turn, if the kind of love we dream about is still real. But then I go to work. I photograph two people who’ve found each other, really found each other and in a world that often rushes everything. I see laughter that’s genuine. Eyes that don’t just look but truly see one another for who they are. And hands that hold not just for a moment, but with a deep rooted promise.
These moments remind me to be patient. To continue walking in faith, knowing that the love I long for is not out of reach, but perfectly preserved in God’s timing. I don’t need to settle or search desperately. I can live fully and joyfully in my season of singleness, knowing that my story is still being written.
To every woman still waiting please know this: your wait is not in vain. You are not forgotten. You are not behind. I promise you, Love is real I see it every day. I capture it in golden hour light, in whispered vows, and in quiet smiles between shutter clicks.
And when your moment comes, it’ll be more than worth the wait. I promise you!
So keep believing. Keep becoming the woman God designed you to be. Keep living, laughing, and loving the life you have now. Because somewhere out there, your person is being prepared too.
And until then, I’ll be here with my camera in hand and my heart full of hope cheering you on and capturing proof that love does exist.
With love and faith always,
