Build a successful female business with Jess R1des

Every week Iliasis Muniz Photography will be featuring strong female entrepreneurs. We will discuss how they found their dream job and tips on how to become a successful female business owner. Our first #strong-female #entrepreneur is Jesse R1des from Boca Raton, Florida. Jess has an incredible way of staying engaged with her social media clients. She shares some pretty knowledgable tips for women who are interested in learning how to ride motorcycles and want to start their own business. Did you know she’s taught over 15 females how to ride? It truly takes a bold soul to run her own business, be a powerful role model to her daughters, and teach/inform other women about riding motorcycles. We asked her some amazing questions about what it takes to build a successful female business!

Read below!

1️⃣What inspired you to create Jess R1des?

This whole social media “thing” happened by accident.  I was a marketing manager in 2015 so I really understood how social media worked. I was showing a friend, who was a personal trainer, how to post at proper times, use hashtags, etc etc. I used my page as an example and posted a picture of me and my bike. That post BLEW up and was like “oh ok” I guess this is a “thing” now and the rest is history.
2️⃣How do you stay motivated as a female business owner? 3️⃣Any advice you’d give to a future female entrepreneur interested in entering into the riding world.

My #1 motivation to produce content is to actually be an inspiration myself. I want people to watch how I maneuver a heavy 1000cc motorcycle or be proficient with firearms and say to themselves “If she can do it, I can do it too!”. Growing up I was faced with a lot of negativity and many many people told me “you can’t do this” or “you can’t do that” because I was diagnosed with a joint disease that made mobility limited. Instead of letting them dim my spark, I said ” I can. I will. WATCH ME”. And that’s been my motivation for this whole adventure!
4️⃣When did you decide to turn Jess R1des into a business?
My social media growth really hit a turning point in the last couple years – actually around the time Tiktok came out. That’s when I started landing big sponsorships and locking in deals. I was like “ok This can actually make me money!” I refined my brand, created my own merch line, and kept the presence growing.
