Bringing family together | Proposal

“Nelson began working away to fight Covid at the frontlines. He only had one day a week off. We had planned our usual date for that Friday off. “Make sure you’re hungry and dress nice,” he told me. I was thinking okay we are gonna have a nice lunch date. We went about and ran some errands. I kept watching as time went by and my hunger kept growing. Then he took us back home! At this point I’m furious because all I wanna do is eat. At one point, I recall stating “just take me to tacos I don’t care!” We get home and I realize all of our family had been gathered there. So now I have to act happy when I’m reallly hangry. He claimed he gathered everyone together since he had missed Thanksgiving. After eating a taquiza, he thanked everyone for coming and quoted his grandfather on the importance of bringing family together.  No, I’m not mad anymore. He went on to say “con el permiso del Señor Ramiro quiero preguntarle a Alicia si quiere unir nuestras familias?”  Then he got on one knee as our baby girl brought him the ring. Aaah! With a smile from ear to ear, I nodded. All of our family clapped and then we kissed.”
